John Simmons paints Hermia and Lysander from A Midsummer Night's Dream, kneeling in a moonlit wood thick with fairies, owls and flowers. Edvard Munch's The Kiss dissolves the pair into one dark red mass beside a window, faces merged and almost featureless. Every print sits on a cream mount with a printed caption band carrying the work, the artist, the year and a place, plus mock survey readings for elevation, latitude and longitude and a plate reference, so the romance is delivered deadpan rather than sentimentally. Hayez painted his in 1859 as a patriotic picture as much as a love scene. Lustre is a beautiful finish which is somewhere between a Matte and a Gloss. If you're not sure what to choose then Lustre looks fantastic on al prints in our store. If you'd like your item printed onto a stiff watercolour-style paper which has a textured rougher surface then choose our \"textured\" option. Finally we have a 100% cotton paper which is extra sturdy, displays colours beautifully and is probably the best option if you want a classic Matte (non-reflective) finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• SIZE: Our prints come in a variety of sizes so please check measurements and choose carefully from the drop down list above.
